Running is something that I am personally passionate about. I've been a runner for more than twenty-five years (since my mid-late teens) having previously been very much more cerebrally than physically active!
Over the past several decades, running has helped me to boost and manage my mental health, as well as my physical fitness. Since turning 40, in 2014, I've achieved "Good For Age" times in several marathons, PBs in half marathon and 10km distances and podium places in medium-length (up to 50-miles) ultra-marathon races.
Of far greater importance to me than my race achievements, is the boost running gives to me in my every day life and the adventures I have in the process.
